Benefits of Mindfulness at Work
The Mindfulness Exchange provides workplace mindfulness training, which can transform working life, but there is more to this than rolling out training programmes. The needs of every client are different. Every programme we offer is shaped to fit the culture and objectives of a client. Mindfulness training releases large savings by days lost at work due to stress, anxiety and depression. However, often mindfulness training is best positioned as a tool to enhance performance, resilience and engagement.
Workplace Mindfulness Training
Our training approach is based on a workplace training model as opposed to a clinical model. Key ideas are clearly explained with the aid of presentations, group activities and experiential exercises. The understanding gained during training motivates participants to use mindfulness exercises and read supporting chapters from the course book, Mindfulness: Finding Peace in a Frantic World, by Mark Williams and Danny Penman during the week.
We typically provide mindfulness training for groups of between ten to thirty people. Our standard courses are built around weekly classes of an hour. We give talks, taster sessions, four week, six week or eight week programmes. We also facilitate peer supported self-learning in organisations.
